The almost-arrived future of AI-enhanced work

I recently hired a research assistant. Its name is ChatGPT. First, a little about me. I’ve worn many hats across a career that dates back to the mid-1980s, but nearly all of them have had something to do with writing in general and usually technical writing in particular. I’ve been a writer, editor, team lead and occasionally project manager.
