Ep. 2 Being AI Skeptical

This semester, I've embarked on an exciting experiment: hosting a podcast series with students in my classes. The aim is to amplify student voices, addressing their questions and sharing their unique perspectives on various topics. In my latest podcast episode of "Cyborgs Writing," I had the pleasure of talking with Abbey Mitchell, a student from my Introduction to Professional Writing class, who came into class very skeptical about AIAbbey opened up about her initial skepticism towards AI, especially given her concerns about data privacy and the speed at which AI has been adopted in our society. This will resonate with many who are apprehensive about the growing influence of AI in both academic and personal spheres.We also discussed the common fear of AI replacing creative jobs, particularly in writing.
