Happy Birthday ChatGPT! I Can't Even Imagine the Surly Teenage Years

Today, November 30th 2023, ChatGPT turns 1 year old. Having lived through the early days of the World Wide Web, Netscape Navigator, SGML, Napster, and other technologies I can accurately say I've never seen a technology emerge with such force to transform the work environment so quickly. I absolutely recognize that the hype is strong with this tech and I don't need or want all my tools (especially my MarCom tools) to be "powered by AI." Yet here we are. As a pragmatic optimist, I continue to explore use cases with LLMs that improve my work life.
