Eight years ago, nestled in the Swiss Alps, a seed of an idea began to germinate. Martin Keller, an avid mountaineer, found himself grappling with a challenge far removed from scaling peaks - how to transform the wealth of information locked away in mountaineering books into easily accessible digital content. Little did he know that this seemingly simple desire would lead him to scale new heights in the world of document processing and content management.. "We wanted to build a mobile app, and to feed it with content, we needed to have that content from all these mountaineering books in a structured format," Keller, now CEO of Acodis, explains.
